This project includes design for a new 16,500 SF fire station, 4,800 SF classroom building, and 2,000 SF multi-story burn tower. The fire station includes structural steel frame with cold form metal framing infill and CMU walls around the apparatus bays, supported on a slab-on-void foundation. The classroom includes similar structural elements having a structural steel frame with cold formed metal in-framing infill, supported on a slab-on void foundation. The burn building superstructure is supported on a slab-on-grade foundation with superstructure designed by a third-party consultant.
