The TDEM Warehouse at Texas A&M-RELLIS Campus is an emergency response facility designed to enhance disaster preparedness and response operations. Gessner helped transform an undeveloped site into a facility that integrates a warehouse, offices, and a regional Emergency Operations Center (EOC). A targeted geotechnical investigation reduced subsurface risk and provided reliable recommendations for foundations and pavement. Detailed topographic surveys clarified existing conditions for accurate design and construction, while a cultural resources analysis ensured regulatory compliance and minimized environmental risk before development began. Based on solid data, the team provided integrated civil design that resolved drainage, access, and utility challenges by creating a coordinated site layout that supports heavy vehicle traffic, fire access, and ADA-compliant circulation.
