In 2016, BKCK LTD launched the Brazos County Auto Complex in College Station with a forward-thinking vision: to create a centralized, high-capacity hub for vehicle maintenance, fleet storage, and administrative operations. What sets this project apart is the client’s strategic approach to long-term growth—designing a facility that not only meets the current needs of Brazos County but also accommodates future expansion. Positioned to streamline county services and improve operational efficiency, the complex reflects a commitment to both functionality and fiscal responsibility, making it a standout example of purposeful public infrastructure.
Our team was engaged to provide critical revisions to existing site plans and reports to support the evolving program requirements. This included redesigning the site surrounding the Make Ready Building to accommodate an updated car wash layout, as well as reconfiguring the commons space located between the Mercedes-Benz and BMW areas. The scope of work involved detailed updates to the site plan, parking exhibit, dimension control plan, paving and joint plan, grading plan, and utility plan. These enhancements ensured the project remained aligned with the client’s long-term operational goals while delivering an efficient, well-coordinated site layout.
